Why are we so resistant to using props? Sometimes it’s ego, (If I have to use a prop to get into the pose then I must not be trying hard enough) and sometimes it’s just not knowing which prop to use. Not everyone is born flexible. Props offer alternative, accessible variations so that everyone can experience the pose true to their own body’s needs but yet we often resist the use of props, especially in Vinyasa classes.
In this workshop, Kelli Gould will encourage you to explore different, creative ways to use props to strengthen your yoga practice in a safe and fun environment.
