Practice and learn safe anatomical principles regarding the core stabilization of the human body. Core is so much more than abs, there is a whole system relying on "tensegrity" and proper engagement/relaxation which intuits the body's ability to stabilize when moving throughout the world.
This workshop is appropriate for both students and teachers alike, who wish to better understand the human body and deepen their connection to themselves and others through the common vessel which holds us all.
We will begin with a thorough and informative practice to integrate core stability, and after a much needed savasana we will spend time analyzing the sequencing, anatomy, and physiology of what we just practiced. We will then take a deep dive into the anatomy behind The Core, and look at how to incorporate these principles into our daily movement patterns, our exercise, our practice, and our teaching.
