Patient Verrar Zwo Zero | Medizynicus doctor blog
Let's start with that: it's not free!
The thing we're talking about here costs money and the money comes from you and me, from our health insurance contributions. What's it all about?
So alright, let's start from scratch:
Patients want to be informed.
Patients want to know what doctors (and their accomplices) do to them.
Patients do not want to be sold for stupid.
And that's why about twenty years ago, a few people who have something to say have put together and thought about what you can do there. The result is the "Independent Patient Counseling Germany", which should educate and advise you and me about health matters. If necessary not only in German, but also in Russian and Turkish. And objectively, independently, at a high level and without you and I have to pay for it on the spot.
The whole thing was organized as a non-profit limited company, among other things, the consumer centers and the social association VdK were involved.
Financing the thing, as I said, directly and indirectly from the health insurance contributions. There comes quite a lot together and if you do it right, you can even make really good money with it. Already in 2015, a private service company thought so and bought the store just like that. You can also advise and inform as a private company. It does not necessarily have to be bad, even though the company is somehow working with drug companies somewhere.
Now the store has been resold - through a rather obscure construct of parent companies and subsidiary companies with fine-sounding names - and at the end is a company which recruits and trains, among others, pharmaceutical representatives.
A rogue who thinks evil.
The bill continues to pay you and me. Whether we're in the mood for pharmaceutical interest-driven advice or not.
